Refund & Return Policy

We want you to be happy with what you bought. This page explains exactly what can be refunded, what can't, and what to do when something goes wrong. Cut Me Cookie is operated by SunFox Innovations LLC (Seattle, Washington, USA).

The short version

  • Digital STL files are final sale. They cannot be refunded once purchased.
  • Physical cutters are printed to order, so we can't accept returns for change of mind or the wrong size.
  • If it's damaged, defective, or not as described, we fix it. Email us within 30 days and we'll replace it or refund it — digital files included.

Digital STL files — final sale

A digital file is delivered instantly and cannot be returned: once the download link has been issued, you have the product, and there is no way to un-receive it. For that reason all sales of digital STL files are final and non-refundable.

This is disclosed before you pay — on every product page when you select the Digital option, and again in your cart. If you're unsure whether a design will work for you, buy the physical cutter instead, or ask us first.

The one exception is a file that doesn't work: if an STL is corrupt, won't slice, or isn't the design shown on the product page, that's on us — see “When something is wrong” below.

Where we do issue a refund on a digital file, the download link is revoked at the same time.

Physical cutters — made to order

Every physical cutter is 3D-printed for your order specifically; we don't hold stock. That means we can't resell a returned item, so we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, or for choosing a size that turned out smaller or larger than you expected.

Please check the dimensions shown on the product page before ordering — each size lists its real measurements, and you can switch between millimetres and inches.

Because each item is printed on demand, slight variations in colour and finish are normal and are not considered defects.

When something is wrong — we make it right

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, email info@sunfoxinnovations.llc within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We'll replace the item or refund it — whichever you prefer. You won't be asked to ship a broken cutter back to us.

This applies to digital files too. If a file is corrupt, won't print, or isn't the design you paid for, tell us and we'll fix it or refund it.

Orders that never arrive

If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you can't find it, check with your household and neighbours first — parcels are sometimes scanned as delivered a little early. If it's still missing after a day, or tracking hasn't updated in several days, email us and we'll trace it or send a replacement.

Custom orders

Custom work is quoted and approved before production begins, and is made to your brief — so it can't be returned for change of mind once printed. If a custom cutter arrives damaged or doesn't match the design you approved, the 30-day rule above applies in full.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We refund the price of the item; shipping ($9.99 for the first cutter, $2.00 for each additional) is refunded too when the fault is ours.
